Sharjah Finance Department rolls out activation on Tahseel smart receipt system
The Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) has activated its smart receipt system, “Tahseel", in the Tasheel Centers in Sharjah and Kalba. The activation comes in light of the Department's commitment to delivering the smart receipt system, to serve all individuals dealing with the Sharjah Government. The service is part of an agreement which was signed last month with the Tasheel Center, to provide a “Tahseel" account recharge service which facilitates customers and enables them to top up their account, as well as a number of other services.
Huda Al Yasi, Director of Financial System Departmentin the SFD said, “Based on the Department's vision, which is line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, we are keen to enhance the efficiency of financial procedures within Government departments and providing a work environment that ensures financial success and excellence. We are committed to providing the best electronic payment systems, whilst achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction, through the use of innovative technologies, and achieving our vision of building a system to enhance sustainability, prosperity, and customer happiness."
Al Yasi pointed out that the Tahseel system collects government fees electronically across all departments in the Emirate of Sharjah, by providing several channels for paying fees in a safe and easy manner, which contributes to enhancing the services provided to corporate and individual customers.
Ensure employee cooperation
In order to activate Tahseel, the Tasheel Centers will be obligated to provide those who wish to deal with the Department with the service known as the Recharge Account service of the SFD. The Department is also committed to ensuring that its employees cooperate with Tasheel, with regard to duly dealing and providing relevant contact information of employees, including direct phone numbers.
Guide to the digital world
The SFD has activated Tahseel in the cities of Sharjah and Kalba, using the latest and most advanced technologies. Tahseel is considered one of the most important services within the Department, that can be easily integrated with all other services. The specialized Department teams apply their efforts to further launch distinctive services that are beneficial and easy to use for institutions and individuals alike.
Tahseel system
The Tahseel system is a comprehensive platform for processing digital financial payments in real time. It provides a new and innovative means to pay transaction fees and services to the Government of Sharjah and meet the special needs of the SFD and its government partners, which go beyond what other platforms offer in the financial sector. The system provides several services for electronic payment of transactions through special payment channels.
The Department works to achieve a number of strategic objectives that lie in managing, developing and providing cash liquidity, developing a performance budget system, implementing integrated and effective financial policies, building a global model in public finances, enabling smart transformation, implementing seven-star services, in addition to strengthening the control system.
