Sharjah Finance Department activates the "Tahseel" system in the Sharjah Ports Authority

 

The Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) has activated the smart receipt system, Tahseel, in the Sharjah Ports Authority. Sharjah Finance Department is always keen to provide the best digital payment systems, and the best electronic and smart financial systems, using innovative technologies, and in safe and easy ways. The Department continuously strives to keep pace with technical developments and provide innovative solutions that develop and facilitate work procedures.

The smart receipt system collects Government employees' fees electronically across all Government departments and agencies in the emirate of Sharjah, in a safe and seamless transaction, which contributes to enhancing the services provided to corporate and individual customers.

Enhancing the efficiency of financial procedures in Government departments

Huda Al Yasi, Director of Financial System Department at SFD said, "Based on our vision in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, the Department is keen to enhance the efficiency of financial procedures in all Government departments, and to provide a work environment that ensures financial security and success. The Department endeavours to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction by easing and simplifying these day-to-day procedures."

Al Yasi added that the Department worked to activate Tahseel with the Sharjah Ports Authority based on the latest and most advanced technologies, pointing out that the services for the smart receipt system include payment options through Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay services, in addition to the remote payment feature.

Tahseel is one of the smart payment services launched by the Department to serve all sectors that it deals with, and contributes to supporting business and completing transactions at an advanced level and saving time, effort, and speed of access.

The SFD is working to achieve a number of strategic objectives, including: managing, developing and providing cash liquidity; developing a performance budget system; implementing integrated and effective financial policies; building a global model in public finance; enabling smart transformation; and implementing seven-star services, in addition to strengthening the internal control system, empowering national human resources through developing a culture of innovation.
