Sharjah Finance Department and Lari Exchange cooperate in payment of Tahseel transactions

 

Sharjah Finance Department and Lari Exchange signed yesterday a partnership agreement to provide e-payment service for the Smart Receipt System (TAHSEEL) to provide easy and convenient payment solutions for government customers in the Emirate of Sharjah. The e-payment service will enable them to pay transaction fees, fines and other services in an easy and fast way through all branches of the company in the UAE.


The Tahseel system, used in all government entities in the Emirate of Sharjah, is one of the most distinctive technical and financial systems. It was developed by the Department to contribute in providing payment services of government fees around the clock to customers of the departments of Sharjah Government. Since its activation the system was able to reduce the risk of using cash, and added many advantages to the optimal use of modern payment technologies and.

The agreement was signed at the offices of the Sharjah Finance Department by His Excellency Waleed Al Sayegh, Director General of the Department, and Fouad Abbas Lari, the CEO of Lari Exchange, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both parties.

His Excellency Waleedd Al Sayegh confirmed that the expansion of entities that provide smart delivery system services (Tahseel) came within the direction of the Government of Sharjah and the Sharjah Finance Department to make it easier for the customers and make them happy through facilitating the access to their accounts and paying the fees through a growing network of exchange companies and their branches in UAE, as well as thorough the Self-payment devices and smart applications.

On her part, Huda Al Yasi Director of the Financial System Department at Sharjah Finance Department said, “Thanks to the smart delivery system (Tahseel), Sharjah has become the first emirate at the local and regional level to use the ID card to pay and collect government fees. Sharjah Finance Department will continue its efforts to enhance the efficiency of its financial services and to facilitate and accelerate the completion of transactions and the availability of the service 24/7."

Under the partnership agreement, the Sharjah Finance Department will collaborate with Lari Exchange in providing Tahseel services in all current and future branches of the company. a public inquiry service to verify Tahseel account, payment of government transactions and fines, and providing a shipping service for “Tahseel".


 Larry Exchange has agreed to continue cooperation with the Sharjah Finance Department to ensure regular service operations, deal with all queries raised by customers, accept funds paid by customers for settling their Tahseel account operations, and provide Tahseel services including refunding of the account and payment of the fees for services and fines to the Government of Sharjah in any new branch to open in the future.
