SFD honors the Financial Performance Excellence Awards winners

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Central Finance Department (SFD), honored on Monday the winners of the third edition of Sharjah Financial Performance Excellence Award in an event organized by the department at the Qasimia University and attended by the award committee members, winners of the awards, and employees of the department.

Governmental entities competed for eight awards that included excellence in Budgets Criteria Implementation, Procurement Criteria Implementation, Accounts Criteria Implementation, Projects Management, and Expenditure Decreasing Initiatives. Employees, on the other hand, competed for seven excellence individual awards including titles such as Financial Manager, Budgets Analyst, Procurements Officer, Financial Auditor, and New Financial Employee.

SFD also honored the official partners: Qasimia University, Emirates Auctions, Sharjah Asset Management Company, Sharjah Islamic Bank, Galaxy International Group, Sanid Programme, Sahab Smart Solutions, and Rafid Automotive Solutions.

Through these awards, SFD aims to promote the effective governmental expenditure practices and develop the financial performance and sustainability in the emirate.
