On marking the Zayed Humanitarian Day, which falls on the 19th of Ramadan each year, and coincides with the anniversary of the passing away of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Al Sayegh said that on this illustrious day, and in light of the exceptional conditions the world is experiencing due to the coronavirus pandemic, the UAE continues to hover high in the skies of leadership and humanitarian generosity, and its wise leadership derives from the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed, the inexhaustible source of goodness and giving, sending convoys with tons of medical supplies to all corners of the earth, displaying the finest examples of generosity and sacrifice.

Al Sayegh added that the undying legacy left by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan will remain a model to be followed by every Emirati living on this good land, where the global pandemic revealed the authenticity of the Emiratis and their wise leadership, which rushed, since the early days of the pandemic, to host stranded brothers and friends, and to extend a helping hand to every needy.
