Sharjah Finance Department organizes "Finance Innovates" event

To coincide with the Emirates Innovation Month 2020, Sharjah Finance Department for its employees will organize a special week for innovation, under the theme "Finance Innovates," from February 8 -14.

Badr Al Ali, Director of the Strategic Planning and Organisational Excellence department at SFD emphasized that the “Finance Innovates" initiative contributes towards the development of the organization and recognizes its contribution in supporting the state's position of creating a global centre for innovation.

The initiatives aim to embrace innovative ideas that will provide solutions for future challenges and turn them into a reality that affects the lives of individuals in the UAE society.

The initiative also coincides with the departments 'performance assessment of it strategic plan during the first year, and reflects all the qualitative developments that will help them achieve their vision of being an outstanding financial institution.

It is worth noting that the Sharjah Finance Department supports innovation and innovators, and was presented with the Creative Ideas Award, after which three of their projects were chosen for implementation in 2020. This assisted the other competitors in implementing their ideas and supports them in developing and improving these ideas to start offering them for deployment later.​
